Why choose Ron Lax?
Weird choice as the main character. As he is presented he is not a very interesting character, rather sketchy. And what he does exactly for the defense is not clear. He is just there in the margins looking around.
shareI've seen all the documentaries and have read all about the case. I'm an hour into Devil's Knot and I'm still wondering who Ron is and why the movie is following him. I get that he's helping the defense, but why is he the main character?
