Asylum - my take...

First, I am not an insider on this pic. Second, I spent two days observing the shooting of several of the exterior and interior sets of key scenes. The closed sets were shot in a converted warehouse in Rock Hill, SC - I did not see those scenes shot - which included a "shower scene" and many others. Third, after seeing an overseas trailer I DO BELIEVE this could be the next "Freddie" type movie that could go on with sequels and receive heavy marketing, all kinds of stuff. Quite impressive... for what it is - a fine "butcher-flick" revival. Good script too! No one will be disappointed at the theaters.

Awesome...Can you tell us a little about the trailer? Also, where did you see the overseas trailer? Online or during previews a movie not playing here in the US?

The trailer was on YouTube. It is gone now but was absolutely awesome and showed off WU really good. Many scenes I saw shot. The trailer was in English with Portugese subtitles. The other trailer described was not this trailer. I know a trailer or two were shown at the warehouse wrap party.

I agree whole heartedly with you. This movie is going to rock! The trailer was simply awesome! I was amazed at just how much of the stuff shot at WU made the actual teaser trailer. Horror fans and students will not be disappointed whatsoever.

I really want to see this trailer...I wish I could find it online somewhere... But judging from the people who have seen the trailer, it sounds like the movie is going to awesome.

The warehouse is like just a whole asylum decked out floor scene. It's what the school is suppose to look like before it was a school. They used Brattonsville as a place to run around in the woods. Tillman hall was used for some really weird scenes as well as school hallway shots. I think one of the shots was done under Tillman. One of the buildings behind or beside was used as the orientation hall....
My bf was in most of the movie and played as a crazy kid and I was in the orientation scene. He got to know David Elis's sister and a few others of the crew. I got to meet some too. There a lot of neat things I can't wait to check out.
