The problem with this show
The problem with Naked Trucker and T Bones Show is that you have to be smart to appreciate it. That's why it doesn't stand a chance with morons who think Mad TV is funny.

You know, Dane Cook does a joke that sums it pretty well. He says that in every group of friends, there is one guy that nobody really likes. Then, during his act, when he notices people in the audience disagreeing with that idea, he says that if you don't get that, then YOU must be the guy that nobody likes.
In terms of this show: it's making fun of a segment of society. If you don't get it, it's probably because you are the one being made fun of!
Some of us find an illiterate drifter traveling across the country with a naked dude rather humorous; however, is you are saying to yourself: I don't get why this hear show is funny. That T-bone feller reminds me of pa," then this probably isn't the show for you.
I totally agree, and I absolutely love this show, me and my wife stumbled upon this show midway thru the season and fell in love with it, and dane cook is the man too
sharethis show isnt the best, but its still funny! i kinda want to hang out with tbones. if a show makes me really like a character that much it did something right.
and the dolt who said it doesnt take a phd to laugh at a fart joke, thats not quite parody of society. please read other comments all the way before making yourself look like a fool.

This show isn't intellectual. It's a naked guy and a caricature of a Southerner.
okay, one last thing. This was one of my favorite shows because of T-bones. We was hilarious and I thought things like fighting the bear were great. The humor felt like modern comedies like Anchorman and most of adult swim, where it feels surreal and "what the hell" moments.
i understand that people didnt like this show, so they dont have to watch this show. its pretty simple! and when people would rather watch joke-stealing completely stupid carlos mencia, or completely depends on the current cast Mad TV (The ONLY hilarious skits were with Will Sasso) its really sad.
this show ISNT smart, this show isnt supposed to be frasier or whatever, this show was silly humor. Thats it. And now I have to watch lil bush and other crap instead of something actually funny.
This show is stupid. That is the bottom line, I was so happy when it was taken off the air. Comedy Central is grasping for straws when it comes to a sketch comedy show, they have mind of mencia (I was so excited, thinking this show was gone as well, but I just saw an ad for a new season...)which somehow is mildly successful, despite the same jokes over, and over, and over, and over, and over. Every single episode is the same 4 jokes, Carlos Mencia (or should I say NED HOLNESS, HIS REAL NAME) is trying to ride the "I say offensive stuff so its automatically funny cause I think Im being edgy and people get upset" train for about 7 years too long. This is a very funny strategy, Ill admit. But uh.....only for one or two jokes, then it becomes stupid, and shows how little to no talent mencia actually has.
Back on topic, naked trucker and t bones show. This is a horrible "sketch comedy" show. Before this aired, I thought it was going to be hilarious. I saw the first commercials, with Will Ferrel, and I thought: "Finally, comedy central will have a good show, can't wait to see this" And once I saw it, it turned out the Will Ferrel sketch was the ONLY thing this show did that was funny at all. And it's not because you need to be "smart" to understand the jokes, oh I understood them just fine. And they were stupid. (Before people call me a redneck, well, I live in san francisco, pretty sure thats not the farm". This show is desperate for jokes, they do everything they can praying for something funny to happen. Comedy Central is still trying to fill the void left by Chappelles Show, and airing crap like this is just going to make that void more and more obvious.
Anyone who doesn't agree with me, or thinks this show is "too smart for the public", is just trying to rationalize liking a terrible program, and is trying to convince themselves they don't have a horrible sense of humor, it is in fact, everyone else with the bad sense of humor, they are just too smart for the rest of us....
I said it earlier and I'll say it again:
“I ADORE this program. T-Bones is like Dean Moriarty on whip-its and crystal meth!”
I'm totally with you, all of you that have expressed their HATRED for Carlos Mencia and Dane Cook, buy you've got to be kidding me, if you think that this show is about caricatures of Southerners (how many of these clichés include quotations of Henry V?).
This is the same show that talks about the sketchiness of boat retailers, hobo v. tramp politics, and still manages to have a kick-ass-tastic house band.
