Yes, the king was slightly miscast. But he made up for his physical deficiencies with pretty decent acting, so I forgave him.
As for the plot, the little I know of WoW lore tells me it wasn't very far off from the actual story, so I give the movie points for that, regardless of how it may seem to someone who hasn't yet enjoyed the game.

Warcraft was decent and the story was something new not depicted in any of the games. Those familiar with Warcraft and its lore got something fresh and seeing Kharazhan in a new light different from the game was nice to see. Orcs were well done and recapturing Azeroth was done well. Certain Story elements could have been expanded upon better.

From the start of Warcraft I understood what was going on having been familiar with the Warcraft games and various novels.

Criticisms: Fans wanted Warcraft to be made into a movie and you got it..... Yet some of you are still unhappy. Doesn't matter what anyone does some of you are still not satisfied. Critics on the other hand missed the point on Warcraft and failed to research its deep lore and vast storylines.
