Joanne Chang - The Sticky Bun Challenge

Food Network has taken much heat lately over their lack of diversity with on camera talent. Well, what about Joanne? I thought she was bright, personable, and really had some charm on camera. Certainly moreso than those dullards competing on "The Next Food Network Star."

They should be grooming her for her own show. Let her bake. Asian cooks don't have to cook nothing but Asian food.

True---it's just a matter of going beyond just sticky buns. She could very well know about other types of food, or even simply desserts. Maybe not cakes (Ace of Cakes), maybe a follow up to "Sugar Rush".

I lived in Boston at the time of this airing and because of this show.......I had to try the sticky sticky buns. I didn't get to meet her, but dang...I know why she won because those buns were so good.
