Any one have an idea of where they plan to shoot this film?

Dampier and Karratha.

My understanding is that the filming location was predominantly Adelaide, South Australia.

I could be wrong. Just had a look at the IMDB profile.

They definitely filmed some of the scenes at Middle Beach, which is north of the city of Adelaide, in Gulf St Vincent.

They also filmed a fair bit of it in Karratha/the Pilbara. I remember there being a casting call thing in the local paper for extras(I grew up in Karratha, moved about 2 years ago)
