Why this film failed (spoilers)

I thought it was going to be a ruthless competition between two competent employees aiming for the promotion.

A battle of wits and cunning plans.

Instead it was a battle between a barely competent employee (SWS) and a complete loser (JCR). We knew pretty soon that JCR wasnt going to win.

There was no excitement, tension or ruthless up-the-ante type tactics.

I liked the movie but wasn't in love with it. Shaun William Scott was great. So funny when he was reading the comment cards.

This movie just felt really unnecessary. It was neither clever, funny, engaging or entertaining. No wonder it failed.

And because of Lili Taylors appauling attempt at a Scottish accent. Why not just make her character American or get an actual aScot to play the part.
