Like a David Lynch movie.. but far DUMBER! ( SPOILERS !!!)

I have no idea WTF the director was thinking (perhaps he was "high" on something when he made this movie). ...OK, I get the stereotyped family of inbred Southern family (been done over and over), and the drug thing (same thing), but WTF was the with the two ..whatever they were behind the painting? WHat was that, a homage to "The Gamesters of Triskilion"? ..and the monster living in the lake .. what's the story there? There is stuff that just did not seem to make sense. the guy that cuts up the bodies - why didn't the zombie girls kill him? What was that thing that the Reverned used to kill The Dude? I'd like to have one for home defense!
This movie was difficult to watch, and even harder to understand (And I actually TRIED to make sense out of "Eraserhead"!
If they ever decide to do a remale, they ought to try to get John Waters to play "Lord Meatweed" (but leave the mustache!)
