Why IMDB deleted the votes???

I'd noticed that too, and also that the production status backstepped from "released" to "in production". The message boards and user-comments had also mysteriously disappeared...

I wrote to the Contributors Board and they've replied that they still don't know what happened...they've updated the production status ("released") and promised that in the next days the user-comments will "reappear". But I guess those hundreds of votes are lost forever...
