Still the greatest dialogue and voice acting in video game history

Just the dialogue and delivery in the three leaf clover segment is better than 80% movies coming out from hollywood these days.

Packie McReary is awesome, yes.

I'm happy that they put Packie in GTA V, one of the best GTA IV characters and a good fit for LS.

It's a bit sad that when he is first encountered, he is robbing a convenience store. He doesn't, or rather shouldn't, need the money, so he kind of likes the lifestyle. But that's like the pot calling the kettle black, considering Niko, Johnny, Luis, Michael, Trevor and Franklin. It's just that they don't come off as petty.

He might have just been bored and decided "why not" to rob that store.

I was thinking that he blew most of his money and that's why he has to do it.

Also, considering which ending of IV is canon, he could have gotten depressed which contributes to some of that.

Packie was indeed out of character in V. In GTAIV he was involved in big time crime: kidnapping, stealing money from mafia and robbing the Triads. He also shoved half of Bolivia up his nose every Saturday night. Five years later he is robbing a drug store? There is no money in these places.

Not only does Three Leaf Clover have great dialogue but even pedestrian dialogue and random characters are exceptional.

I agree, one of my favorite sequences actually happens early in the game in the mission Crime and Punishment. That whole sequence in Mikhail's basement was brilliantly acted.
