Why the bleeps?
Whenever anyone says a full name, an address, a town or some other identifier, the word is bleeped out. Supposedly if we are watching "found" footage, the names would remain intact. Is this because of fear of lawsuits?
shareI think its supposed to be part of the whole 'made from found footage' thing. If, hypothetically, they really were using edited together found footage they wouldn't be allowed to use people's names and addresses. Its to make it feel more 'real', whether it succeeds is another story, I found it distracting.
