The style of this film is called cinema verite. It is a style that lets the action tell the story without narration to guide you to what you should feel or think. Jon Alpert, who directed this film with his protege Matt O'Neill is a cinema verite master. He also executive produced (supervised) the documentary series Off To War which follows the Arkansas National Guard through their deployment. It's worth checking out.

I believe you were interested in movies similar in subject matter, not cinematographic technique, yes? In addition to this, an HBO production, there is another one HBO produced called "Ghosts Of Abu Ghraib." Also try "Taxi To The Dark Side," which was theatrically released, and also ran on HBO not long ago. It seems HBO has dedicated at least part of its resources to bringing these and perhaps other documentaries to the public. I don't know why, but I'm grateful they're doing it. The Bush administration has exercised an extraordinary level of censorship on coverage of this war. Hopefully through these and other documentaries more stories about what actually occurred in Iraq and Afghanistan eventually will be told.

It's not just the bush administration moron, it's the media in general.

Classic example of libs using the Bush Administration as the scapegoat.
