Downloading

Hey I have a question about downloads. For Christmas this year my dad received an ipod video. I was just messing around with it and wanted to see how video looked so I put the pilot episode of "Raines" on it, and forgot it. Now my dad has seen it and is addicted, wants me to find more, but the pilot ep was the only one I had as I watched it online for free. I checked itunes and as NBC no longer is available there, it is gone. Is there another way I could download the series?

Thanks for the link, BigBeattie (stage6.com/videos/tag:raines/order:date), but anyone have a source for the eighth episode?

According to IMDB -

The script for the eighth installation, entitled "Every Picture Tells a Story" was written but never filmed, because of the cancellation. This would have been episode production number 108.

I guess we'll just have to make do with the 7 excellent episodes they did film.

Hmm. I was pretty sure I had eight episodes when I downloaded them before...I'd gotten them via iTunes and hadn't backed them up yet when iTunes crashed and dumped everything so I'm just looking to replace whatever/however I can. Oh well, I'll never know, except that I have a receipt that says "$15.92" ($1.99 x 8). I'm 99% positive I didn't get anything else with it, as it's the only time I've bought anything from iTunes (I mainly use it for free podcasts and my own CDs). Oh, well.

Fancast.com has all the episodes. You can probably have them at Hulu.com too.

Thanks for the tips. Fancast.com seems fairly nice, but still no way to download. Here's their Raines page: fancast.com/tv/Raines/95653/main

Hulu.com doesn't offer any kind of search feature as far as I can tell. I probably could if I cared to sign up, but I'm not one to sign up for anything unles I actually know something about it and whether it offers features/items I want. What a poor business model.

I downloaded the Pilot from iTunes in October, and meant to go back and download the others later. Tonight I went to search and am dismayed to find they're all gone. How disappointing. :( I'd buy the others if I had the chance. I hope they eventually get put back on iTunes but it's probably a long shot.
