Rains or River?
If you liked Rains, you'll probably like River. It's basically the same show.
shareNo. Well yes it is basically the same show however Raines was so much better and, although he solved murders (the same as River), River is so much darker and slower (although I confess that to date I have only seen the fist episode of River).
I think they should have made more Raines' shows but, then again, the same thing keeps happening really (they see dead people).
I'm torn between watching the rest of River because I don't really want to but I don't like quitting either. Hmmm.
Keep watching River. I felt the same as you that the first episode was a bit slow. The pace stays the same throughout the series, but more happens, and the six episodes tell a single story that make watching them absolutely worthwhile.
