I don't know about the commercial, but the guy was on the Taye Diggs show Kevin Hill, as his male nanny.
shareWell Melanie came out in the Glad commercials. As for the depressed guy with the dead eyes, his name is Patrick Breen and he's been acting for quite a while. He's been in everything from "Melrose Place" to "Will & Grace" to "Beverly Hills Ninja" to "Men in Black"(he played the guy whos alien baby Will Smith delivered in the backseat of the car).
