I'm unclear when the five unaired episodes began, so is "A Simple Twist of Fate" the finale or is there one more?
I loved the cameo appearances by Sarah Vowell and Peter Horton!
I am so disappointed this show is canceled.

I also think Carlos turned over incriminating evidence against Ray from Laura's husband's computer before he gave the laptop to Ray. Just a hunch. I guess we'll never know. :(
So this really is the final episode, huh? Watching it made me depressed because I now know it's gone. I really just want to know what happens now that Lisa is pregnant with Carlos' baby. Can the writers at least tell us what they had in mind? I need to know.

shareOn the show, Sarah Vowell played the girl Caseman met at the impound yard whose moped was towed. Since she said she had just quit her job, I did a little research. Sure enough, she was Carlos' co-worker in the public defender's office in the pilot episode.

You know, technically, we left all of the characters happy, except for Ray, which is what I liked. Can you think of any character that wasn't left unhappy? Do you think they did that on purpose?

shareI feel like they seem happy but it's all jumbled up. Whitney needs to be with Stephen, not some Stephen lookalike (though she does have to get with this guy first for the drama then finally Stephen). We need to find out if Ray goes down. That chick needs to tell Carlos she's pregnent (such an old storyline btw) and he and Mae need to fight/split over this but end up together. We need to find out more about David. Oh, and the thing with Mae's mum also. I feel like it was just about to get even more crazy next season but we won't get to see it. It seems as though this is the calm before the storm.
I wonder if they knew it was cancelled when they filmed the last episode. I am thinking it seems they could have because of the happy thing you mention but at the same time not because of the cliffhanger with the pregnancy and then the Roy thing. Hmm.
