The Nine (the movie)

Here's my proposal! They pull a Firefly on us, and make a movie that answers all of our questions!!!! The tying off of what went down in the bank, and such! Cause the movie Serenity, not only was a big hit with the fans of Firefly, but if brought in new fans.

I truly wish they would do this, because I still have so many un-answered questions, and they put in too many episodes to give up on this show!

For example
1) Why was Kathryn's hair cut?
2) What caused the fight between Lucas and his brother?
3) what can't Felicia remember?
4) How did Eva die?
6) What led to the scene we saw in the pilot, of the break-in by the SWAT Team? (Like the negotiatior being punched, and the way Malcom was, etc.)
7) Okay i'm a total Lizzie/Lucas shipper, and I want to know what the real connection is between the two of them. The way they are is more than just the few instances we have seen.
8) another Lucas and Lizzie question is where the two of them would end up in the end? See I had a theory...something would happen when Lucas got out of jail, and there would still be people after him, and they would try to use Lizzie to get to him. (In my theory there was more to the bank robbery...all the FBI, and stuff made me wonder if there was more to the bank robbery than just Lucas and his brother...if there were more stings involved? Hmmmmmm) Anyway, there would be a big show down , and both Lizzie and Lucas would be declared dead after the fight...but then we'd see it to be a hoax, and the two of them living in another country with new identities...this way they could live a life without all the press, or any police tails 24/7, etc. The two would be free...(still haven't fit in her child with Jeremy yet, but I was working on it)

Anyway...anyone for the movie??????????

I wouldn't count on a movie... ever. Not with this cast. These actors are too much in demand to commit to a production that seems doomed to fail from the start. Yes, this was a great show, but it did not get embraced by enough viewers.

As far as your questions I have some speculation/answers. I have seen all 13 episode (I watched 10 and 11 online and downloaded 12 and 13 off bittorrent).

1) Why was Kathryn's hair cut?
This wasn't really answered. But I do know that Randall tried to rape Kathryn and Malcom challenged Randall's manhood which led Randall to beat up Malcom.. So my speculation is that during the second day Randall may have found out that she was an ADA and got ahold of scissors or a knife and taunted her with and instead of cutting her face cut her hair instead.

2) What caused the fight between Lucas and his brother?
Randall found out that Lucas had an inside man on the job (2 of them actually) and that he was going to give the insider a cut of Randall's share. Randall was obviously out of control during the standoff and Lucas was under pressure from one of his insiders to handle Randall.

3) what can't Felicia remember?
A conversation between her father and Lucas that reveals her father as an insider on the heist. This is why she has images of Lucas as a sacrificial lamb. obviously, the truth is so traumatizing that her mind has chosen to forget it.

4) How did Eva die?
My speculation is that sometime around or just before the 51st hour of the standaoff, Randall threatened to start killing hostages if demands were not met and unfortunately for Eva, she was his first choice. Perhaps Randall found out that Eva and Nick had plans to start dating and chose her because Nick was a cop.

6) What led to the scene we saw in the pilot, of the break-in by the SWAT Team? (Like the negotiatior being punched, and the way Malcom was, etc.)

Since Eva was still alive (barely) at the time of the siege, she was probably shot only moments before. It's probably Eva's shooting that hastened the SWAT team to storm the bank. Malcolm was in shock because he knows that he is responsible for the deaths of Tom and Eva. Nick is probably pissed because he must of at one time had the kidnappers in agreement to put an end to the situation only to have the negotiator screw the pooch.

7) About Lizzie
Lizzie is beginning to realize that it is she who has insulated herself from those she loves and that she must change if she is ever going to take a loving relationship to the next level. The last episode leads me to believe that she and Jeremy will get back together. She tells Jeremy that he is worthy of being the childs father. Franny realizes that she grew up without a father and a mother and that she is standing between Jeremy's baby having a loving family to grow up in. She is in the process of healing her own family and I believe that she intends to end her relationship with Jeremy.

That last scene (a flashback to the bank unlike all other stressful flashbacks)
The reflection of the rising sun from a glass skyscraper accross the street strikes Eva's face as the first night of the siege is over and a new dawns. Eva feels the warmth of the sun opens her eyes and says "We made it".

I went to that site and voted a couple weeks ago. Personally, the 13th episode brought enough cloure for me. Sure there are unanswered questions, but I'm good with how the characters unfolded and the direction each seem to be headed. Malcolm, Lucas and Felicia have dark clouds hanging over them, but the other 6 have made strides in dealing with their skeletons. It's likely that Malcolm and Lucas will do time in prison but they shouldn't have to spend their entire lives behind bars like Randall will. Nick and Kathryn have admitted their attraction to one another. Kathryn also has found some purpose behind her campaign for DA and Ed has conveniently made a career move that removes him from the picture. Lizzie has begun to open up to Jeremy and forgiven him. Jeremy is looking forward to fatherhood; he also seems intrigued by the changes he notices in Lizzie. Franny is getting stronger by dealing with her abandonment issues through bonding her family back together. She has her grandmother and mother talking again and she has gained comfort from this. Remember, it was the loss of Eva that led her to seek the company of Jeremy and the loss of Lizzie that led Jeremy to Eva. Egan is starting a new career working for Kathryn's campaign and has also found a new love interest and they seem to share a deep admiration for eachother.

Yeah, I'm good with how things were left off.

A movie is COMPLETELY out of the question. The ratings for this show was HORRIBLE.

I imagine the demographics for Chappele and Firefly were a just slightly more enthusiastic age group.
