If one of the hostages was in on it wouldn't it come out?

I mean wouldn't one of the bank robber have said something as part of a deal or a lesser sentence or for that matter, have a better way of escape?

For any of them to think it may have been Lizzie is dumb though.

I think this was established a while ago before they took it off air, the consensus was on one of the hostages killed;one of the sisters who worked there

No. Because he knows if he snitch and go to jail anyway, he would be considering one of the low life in prison. He would be pick on, and harass .

If one of the hostages was in on it, it probably would come out...unless that hostage happens to be dead. This is the case, as the "inside man" was Tom, a security guard working at the bank. He gets shot during the hostage situation, but I don't remember why. I believe this is revealed in the episode before "Man of the Year."

"Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?"
