As for me Russia was much better than finnish Lordi. just people in suits of ugly creatures and bad song.But russian was really bright!

i agree finland was really crap Dima Bilan was awesome and actually had talent

Dima Bilan was a total Eurovision star. Lordi were just a novelty act who grabbed everyone's attention at the right moment - pretty funny though.

Dima Bilan's pronunciation of English (not to mention his performance in general) was way too weak... and that whole boy band escapee thing is so passé.

Dima Bilan isn't very good live though. Plus his song was quite meaningless and boring. It just wasn't that different. Lordi stood out!

I liked the Russian entry last year, but I think Lordi was better as they managed to change what the Eurovision Song Contest is all about. Their song wasn't the best, but as the person above said they stood out and were just so different it was good!

Yeah exactly, Lordi's song really stuck in your head, which is ESSENTIAL for a successful song... whereas for most of the other songs last year... you'd forgotten the tune/lyrics like 10seconds after it was finished.
