Agreed. It has become a farce. The people who say they are watching it for its camp value are deludeding themselves. Its about giving votes to your neighbours, this used to be a bit of fun when I was a kid and the right song usually won. Some top tunes (Brotherhood of Man, Abba, Jonny Logan, Nicole, Milk and Honey, Bucks Fizz)came out over the years. Now some random song which you forget by the time the voting starts wins.
Why are countries eliminated in the semis still voting? This just adds to the votes for the boys syndrome.
To avoid further embarressments the UK should not bother entering anymore. Its become the Baltic/Eastern European song contest and even if Robbie Williams, Elton John, Sting , George Michael and Phil Collins formed a supergroup they would still be beaten out by a former stripper from Lituania and end up with about 14 points.

that's exactly what my mum said!!!!... england should just not give them the satisfaction anymore of making our country look like loosers all the time, when were not. and i really sympathize with scooch, because eventhough they aren't the next mariah carey or beyonce, they were good. and a hell of a lot better then the majority of the others.
i was personally expecting hungary or germany to win, in my opinion them 2 deserved to win more the serbia (or however you spell it).
winning euro vision doesn't make you a good singer, it just meens your living in a popular country.
which bassically is a load of *beep* when it's a music show.
