In the myth Sif is Thor's wife so if they follow it at all they will either at least be engaged if not already married by Ragnarok. Jane is gone in that movie so...
shareThere is nothing to say that in the thousand or so years they've been alive, Thor and Sif haven't hooked up.
At the same time, I get the attraction between Thor & Jane. She's something new and exciting to him. I think he liked being her "protector" and her being in awe of the things he could do.
I cared for the woman I dated just prior to dating my wife, but she was also a bit boring and predictable. She was a couple years older than me and had a good job. She'd been to Europe and biked across the SW of the US. So, my taking her to the bluffs to see the sunset or to a park where a fort from the 1700's had stood wasn't quite as exciting to her as it was my (now) wife.
As would I, no question about it. I would HAMMER her! :D Then would come the proposal, marriage, kids, and all that sweet Jazz. Oh yeah!!!
That being said, it isn’t hard to fathom why Thor became enamored with Jane. She was pretty attractive as well as different and unique compared to any girl he had ever met in his thousands of years (vice versa).
But yes, Sif is a goddess... literally compared to every earth girl... and I would pick her over Jane any day of the week. ;) She’s just so freakin’ gorgeous! Speaking of gorgeous creatures, I myself have a huge thing for Darcy. Kat Dennings... man, I just find her so irresistible! And especially with those glasses and mighty assets!
Except that if Sif met guys like you, she'd pick you up by the ankles and bounce your heads on the floor a few times just because she liked to hear the cracking noise.

Check it out, if I did end up meeting her in real life, I would be a gentleman showing the upmost respect to our divine Lady Sif. Sometimes I can be bawdy online, simply to be funny (don’t worry, I won’t quit my day job). And these sometimes I hesitate to write such things but my intention (man the anti-pc army isn’t going to like this) is always to sound humorish, not distasteful. But if you think you have me all figured out by me using playful puns and what not, well then my lady I have to say you don’t. PUH-LEASE, you say? Don’t care.
Anyway, if fawning over her would make me feel the wrath of this goddess regardless... then my gawd give me Jane instead! (I’m sure Thor wouldn’t mind by now). Or better yet, give me Darcy who I do prefer to Sif! But providing that I’m one of those guys according 2 you, I guess I should be grateful that I will still get to feel Sif’s ferocity with her hands all over me. Painful it would be, but oh so very exciting. Right? ;) Umm yeah.

But I don't see why Darcy doesn't get more love. She's really beautiful, she's fun, and she seems pretty available.
