A fellow Aussie here. Great movie! Love the neihbourhood watch sticker on the front door.
I shall be wary of French women from now on, not that I'm a psychotic, bogan dope grower, living on French Island or any thing....not too sure of some of my relatives, though....;) My uncle nearly bought part of either, French or Snake Island a few years back. (I forget which Island, but thats a True story.) The funny thing is, you could imagine stuff like that, in the movie, actually happening out there....what with all the early escapee convicts from Van Diemans Land living in the Bass Strait, raiding the mainland for Aboriginal women,living by clubbing seals, gradually inbreeding etc.
Still, if you had said it was "based on actual events", I bet you could have fooled a large number of ppl, lol. Keep up the good work.

I really liked your screenplay. I didn't see anything funny about it at all, actually. I look forward to seeing your other projects.

I am going to look for "The Long Weekend" and "Visitors" on DVD.

i really enjoyed Storm Warning, i thought it was really good. ive written my own horror screenplay titled 'Lake Willow' the feel of this movie reminded me of my script:)
