I would say it has a perfect ending - perfectly satisfying.

It has a *very* happy ending. They get married and live happily ever after. The Easter Bunny turns up every year and Santa Claus always drops in on Christmas Eve.

Skippy came to live with Bruce and Sheila, and entertained everyone with his crocodile impersonations.
