The Are Two Dukes of Hazzards sinoffs ....

Has anyone ever seen ...

In 1983, a show called "The Dukes" an animated saturday morning cartoon of the Dukes of Hazzard (It actually featured the real voices of all of the real actors). It had a slightly different plot than the TV show did. It had the Dukes racing against Boss Hogg and Roscoe in a race around the world. In the episode where they went to Italy, real life Indy-car legend Mario Andretti appeared in an episode of that cartoon as the voice of his cartoon self. The show only lasted 1 season.

Also in 1981(or maybe it was 1982)there was another Dukes of Hazzard spinoff called "Enis". The plot of that show was simple, they took the Enis Strait charactor and give him his own TV show. The premisis was simple too, Enis Strait leaves Hazzard County to become a cop in the big City of Atlanta. This TV show only lasted 2 seasons.

Your facts about the Dukes spinoff are wrong, the imdb board for "Enos"
states that it lasted 17 episodes not 2 seasons and it ran in the
1980-81 season. Not in 1982 and Enos left to join the Los Angeles Police
Department and not to become a cop in Atlanta. Just setting the facts
straight. Btw, I don't even remember there being a cartoon series based
on the original tv series! I've never seen it.

Believe it or not the cartoon was on for 2 seasons in one season the duke clones (coy and Vance stared) in the other it was Bo and Luke. The plot was as listed above it was made by Hanna-Barbara so they just took old Wacky Racer episodes and gave them Duke spins. Basicaly the Duke Boys vs Boss Hogg in a world race.
Enos was as you said he was a down home cop moving to the mean streets of LA and would have a crazy car chase every episode. It was a buddy cop show one guy from the mean streets with straight laced Enos as his sidekick

I don't remember anything about it except for the bit at the start with the pig in the mud.

Man... that is pretty slow show intro music for a kids cartoon show...
