They were all lip-syncing, along with the Cheetah Girls, The Cheetah Girls recycled the first movie's plot.

Though the music was just as good if not better. But I still like High School Musical better.

i didnt say that both movies had lipsyncing i said that it was definitely easier to figure that HSM singers were lipsyncing

They were both good, buti would watch the Cheetah girls 2 over and over, HSM is overrated

The cheetah girls 2 should have been more populer then HSM
I think that HSM is more populer because it is kinda relates to alot of kids but hey the Cheetahs will woop them in a talent show

he actually didn't lipsynch every song, he sang get'cha head in the game...but I don't agree with him lipsynching...I mean why do it??
I personally think both are good....I can't pick one....sorry.

High School Movie was too chessy and boring! The plot? don't get me started. The Cheetah Girls 2 though had GREAT music and GREAT acting by Raven. I never got why HSM was ever popular, it is so stupid.

HSM is not better. I mean in every interview the cast says that its like a very inspirational movie or whatever, and its good for the kids to see. Its like they are saying that its the only movie that can give kids an idea to know that clicks are stupid or whatever, and this is obviously not the movie. Cheetah Girls has better songs, and a better story. It shows people that you shouldnt get carried away of anything. This is my opinion, and I respect yours.

I'm sorry, but HSM is the LAMEST movie I have EVER seen in my entire life. =\ I would never want to go to that high-school! *shiver* I'd kill myself. T_T Now the CG's is something that is awesome, and great in my opinion. They've got so much talent, and they aren't singing jams about putting a ball though a hoop, 'getting their head in the game!' WHAT IS THAT CRAP?!?! *sigh* I don't even know how HSM got more success that the CG's... It's hard to believe, but like I said, it's only my opinion, and I'll reiterate one more time... HSM SUCKS ARSE~!!!!

I'm done ranting for now. ^^; GO CHEETAH GIRLS!!!

I prefer CG2 but it's inbelievable how hyped England was over the HSM premiere...people at my school were just going on and on about it and kept singing "We're all in this together...".
I absolutely hate HSM - CG2 is much better. And a great improvement from the original.

Whats even worst..is the 2nd movie. Omg, I saw it, and thought my eyes were bleeding, literally. Idk why the hell this movie became famous, its so stupid. High School is so not like that. Hopefully there isnt a 3rd!!!

If I read your post last year, I would have bashed you.

But now, I must say: AGREE, AGREE.

People just can't stop talking about HSM - the CG2 is much better. Totally. The girls' vocal power is much, much more powerful than the HSM lot.

I cringe every time I hear Ashley Tisdale sings, seriously. There's something about that squeaky voice that gets to me - it seems to be like she's making it up or something to make herself look cute. But girl, it's not working on me now. But then again, I must state here that I don't hate the girl or HSM ... I am not a hater.

It's just I'm trying to express my point civilisedly. Hope no one is too offended by this opinion.

The Cheetah Girls 2 is much better than High School Musical.

They are TWO diffrerent movies about TWO different subjects I LOVE them both but I LOVW HSM better, I wouldn't compare the two, their SOO much different than each other!!

CG1 and 2 are about 4 girls trying to fufill their dreams of becoming professional singers!!

HSM is about two characters of opposite sides of the high school food chain who share a love of music. and in the end showing the whole skool that no one has to subdue themselves to a label.

HSM is deeper in my opinion so thats y I like it better but I LOVE both movies!!

I think that both Cheetah Girls and HSM are both great. I have to agree though that the lip-synching was much more obvious in HSM. I thought that Cheetah Girls was much better just because I enjoyed the singing, dancing and the overall plot a lot more.

I agree with most of the people... TCG2 is way better than HSM! The cast of HSM couldn't sing especially Zac... I mean, Drew Seely sang most of Zac's part... Ashley and Vanessa's voice are so annoying... Sorry to the HSM fans but it's true...

cheetah girls 2 was much better than hsm 2, no doubt about it. i really liked the fact that it was set in barcelona, it was educational as well as entertaining. and the songs were very good too.

Agreed. Even as of 2009, Cheetah Girls 2 is still my favorite DCOM to watch and it doesn't bore me or put me to sleep.

I won't watch the third movie or the first because I heard they weren't as good as CG2.

The first HSM was okay and tried to say something, but they went to far with marketing, including the Zanessa relationship and making the films fan favorites rather than tell a storyline.

So...Cheetah Girls 2 for the win.
