Civil War Breech-loaded SxS... any good examples?

I have done research, and it would seem that the predominant amount of SxS shotguns before 1863ish, give or take a couple years, were coming from Europe, U.K. and France and such. Were there any, at least semi-popular double barrel breech loaders produced in the U.S., or shipped to the States, during or prior to the Civil War? Any names, websites? Just curious?

The film takes place in 1881, long after breech-loading shotguns were being manufactured in the USA (Hitch's 8 gauge in the film is a Colt). I'm not sure of the point of your 1863 date. You are correct that Europe led the way on the development of breech-loading shotguns. Do a Google search on "pinfire shotguns", and you should find more information.
