So does Roy never find out about... (Spoilers)

Jessie cheating on him? In the train scene where they just showed the drugs to the detective, there was a scene where it panned to his face while Jessie said the two of them were alone that made it look like he suspected something. That was the only implication though, and in the film she never revealed their affair.

Since he married the drunk-driving ho after she almost killed him, I doubt that he would care. Probably would welcome any extra sperm so he could go back to playing with his trains.

I thought you were going to ask, does Roy never find out that his wife KILLED somebody?? While cheating is bad, it's supremely creepy that she killed this guy and is content to just never mention it.

Why is everyone forgetting that Carlos was going to RAPE HER??

reply

Doesn't change the fact that she killed a man and is content to just never mention in to her life partner. She WAS going to cheat with Carlos, which is why she doesn't want to tell her hubby about the incident at all. Then, it's true, she changed her mind, and Carlos would have forced himself on her, but she disabled him enough to get away IF she had chosen to do so. Instead she chose to kill him so her husband would never know that she went off with this guy. Chilling.

A woman who would go as far as she did would have eventually gave into him totally. She change her mind to me because just who wants to make love in the cold and under those circumstances. She felt guilty about going that far and part of her beating him was because of this.

He was obviously seen disturbed in some scenes. Its natural for him to suspect her too. Probably he placed so much trust on her and doesn't want an already soaring relationship to go ruckus.
