Ring modulation and Richard Ramirez

Did anyone else's DVD have a strange ring modulation effect throughout the whole movie? I've never encountered this on a DVD before. I tried turning off my rear speakers, even turning off the surround-sound and just having the sound come out of the TV, but still got the same ring modulation effect. It had to be the recording. Strange.

Also, did anyone notice the similarities between Paul (Sebastian Urzendowsky) and America's Night Stalker, Richard Ramirez?

Sebastian could easily play him in a movie (especially with THAT ending)!
