20 year old Megan Park plays the 12-13 year old daughter

I know that they use a lot of women in their early 20's to play high school girls (due to child labor laws, schooling, adult themes, nudity, etc.). This, however, was ridiculous!

My tv guide described the daughter character as being 12, while this website says she is 13. The character is played by 20 year old (at the time) Megan Park.

Anyone else find her unbelieveable in the role?

Proudly defending films older than Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and Miley Cyrus.

She passed for as young as 16 in this, IMO.

They should've gone with "15 year old daughter". She looks young but did not pass for an 8th grader.

Hey, I taught 8th graders for 15 years and "Hilly" does not look, act, or talk like girls that age. Maybe the actress could've have passed for an older high school student, but 8th grade? No way.

THis was a TV film. They can only work minors 3-4 hours a day. Tv_films are shot quick and there is long shooting days. So they need adults to play younger roles. They should of just "aged up the character" it would not affected the story too much..

I have seen a ton of Hallmark type movies with children as young as 8 or 9 years in important roles. Very often it is the credibility of the kids that make or break these movies. Putting a pony tail on a 20 year old women does not make for a believable pre-teen. Not surprisingly, the movie was not very good.

I never noticed the description said 12 year old. That's funny. I would buy she was a 15 year old. She was around 19-20 when they made the movie. I think she looked pretty young in it with the pony and no make up. Definitely not 12 though.
