What happened to the bad guy??

Few questions about this movie:

- What happened to the bad guy at the end? I mean he can heal pretty fast as seen earlier in the movie... the army aren't likely to stop him, hulk wandered off... How did they deal with this dude? Plus why did liv tyler tell hulk to stop?

- What happened to the scientist guy? He created the main bad guy then ended up on the floor and his head was like... pulsating or something? He died i take it?

-My best guess is that the Hulk choked him out with the chain. As far as how they keep him incarcerated it's anyone's guess. In the one-shot called "The Consultant" Abomination is mentioned as a possible Avenger's candidate.

-The character Samuel Sterns is also known as the Super Villain called the Leader. What you saw of him is the beginning of his gamma transformation.

As there is no sequel, and Avengers doesn't mention anything from TIH, it's impossible to say what's currently going on or what will happen with both of these characters.

yeah the avengers doesn't directly reference the events of this film, it merely implies that it happened. Though at the end of this film we see Banner seemingly able to hulk out on cue and he has that ability in the Avengers.

One of the few references in The Avengers, which is good its not heavy handed. Stark is talking to Banner about visiting New York and Stark Tower Banner says last time he was in New York he broke Harlem.

"This is a house of learned doctors!"

According to Wikipedia, Blonski was returned to normal and imprisoned in some sort of cage. How he was returned to his human form is not explained and though they wanted to film that scene and include it with the ending credits, it never happened. Whether or not that is "canon" I do not know.

As for Sterns, who knows, though the beginning of his transformation was meant to play into the next Hulk movie, if one is made, to set him up as the major baddy.

you can check out this link of an old hulk and she-hulk(believe it or not) cartoon.

another poster referred to the character Samuel Sterns becoming - "the leader"--he is in this link--and also the cartoon Abomination.

They're probably locked up somewhere. Fingers crossed for a MASTERS OF EVIL movie.

I thought that was so incredibly stupid that she told him to stop choking him when 3 seconds before he was going to kill her and her father, chicks make movies so dumb at the best parts. What sense could that possibly make to get emotional when 2 monsters are fighting.

AGREED! High five!

Probably because Betty didn't want Bruce to murder someone regardless if that person was about to kill her. The entire movie was about Bruce's fight with the monster within, having him kill someone would ultimately break all the work he had done over the five years he was in hiding.

I will not fear, fear is the mind killer

In the Consultant One-Shot, Coulson and Sitwell mentioned that Blonsky was in the custody of General Ross. They talk about how the World Security Council wanted Blonsky/the Abomination as part of the Avengers Initiative. So they send Tony Stark (the Consultant) to talk to Ross in order to pi$$ off the general so that Blonsky wouldn't join and it worked. It was in the Agents of SHIELD season 1 episode, T.R.A.C.K.S, that Blonsky was in a cryo-cell located in Alaska.

If it's all the same to you, I'll have that drink now.-Loki (Marvel's Avengers)
