WAS Norton contracted to be in Avengers?
Was Avengers even CONCEIVED at this point?
I don't always post on IMDB.com, but when I do I make sure I'm hammered.
Norton was contracted for multiple films, but Marvel Studios opted not to make him honor his contract.
If they wanted him back, he was contractually obligated to return, but they weren't contractually obligated to bring him back.
After Norton and them came to blows over the final cut, and then went overseas for other stuff when he would have been doing press tours for the film...they opted not to bring him back.
And they curiously replaced him with the Director's original choice, Mark Ruffalo.
I like Norton but after seeing the Avenger's, I wish Marvel had gone with the Director's original choice, Mark Ruffalo. The movie would have different because it of Norton's rewrittes, don't know if for better or worse. Hopefully will eventaul get another Hulk movie with Ruffalo

I think they REALLY should've just went with Ruffalo in the FIRST PLACE as the director planned!
