Multiple Pregnancies

Instead of killing the captives after they give birth, why not keep them alive so they can keep on producing?

reply

Yea you'd think instead of killing them they'd squeeze as many out of them as they could.

Likely their entire remaining existence would be condemned to being tied up popping out more mutant puppies. Either until they became bored with them or couldn't produce anymore.

....at which point I'm sure they'd be killed.

Lol. I guess the term "gives birth" puts a bit of a nice gloss on the whole ordeal. What actually happens is the mutant dude grapples around inside her and rips the baby out.

I'll copy n paste what I said in the other thread.

I think what they meant by that was that she was in very bad condition.

She was malnourished, prone to infections, and just overall in terrible shape to continue being his baby-machine. Not to mention the mutant ripping the baby out would've likely caused severe vaginal tearing which would require some extensive stitching.

And for something like that she'd need medical supplies and attention, and these mutants weren't exactly in the know how or cared enough for what he saw as a mere "breeder".

Lol probably not. They'd have at least needed to keep the mother alive to breastfeed n'all too.

Honestly, I don't even wanna know about what happened to that woman leading up to that point. Wonder what (or who) it was that even helped her retain the desire to live at all.

Lol I'm not woman tho I think if I were I'd lose the will to live within a few weeks. The woman in the movie had just given birth and was still begging to live. Maybe she just wanted to return to her previous life and possibly husband/boyfriend or kid (like Missy), but like hell the mutants were going to let her go.

"Urrrrgh thanks for making me baby *hands over box of chocolates and thank you card for her breeding services and sends her on her way* XD

lol that'd be pretty shi^ty xD

Honestly the only good part of the movie was the opening, which really set a wrong tone. It was pretty much just a joke other than that scene. Papa Hades was pretty badass though all he could mutter out was "DIE!" and "make me baby!"

Yea Pluto was f^cking terrifying. Micheal Bailey Smith did a great job in both his roles.

It's not even just the graphics, but the idea of being held captive as Papa Hades baby-machine and getting railed and tied to a bed for 9 consecutive months living in agonizing fear by that huge ugly smelly piece of sh^t haha

That scene was terrifying, that whole movie felt more uneasy than the second, which felt more like supermutant villians and inept solders. The burning of the father was sheered into my brain. The whole movie felt more uneasy than the second.

Again, the opening birth sequence of the 2nd movie did it right and wasn't a good predictor of how the rest of the movie would go. Was only good scene. I'd tell someone their best bet is to watch the first 3 minutes and turn it off.

There was actually an alternative birthing scene that got cut somewhere during the making. It's much lighter and has two mutants in the scene instead of one. Yea the baby punching it's way out was just silly, but other than that it was pretty rad (in a sick, disturbing....terrifying way).

If you're interested.

Yea the fist that bashed her head in was much larger than the one pulling the baby out.

The trailer was creepy and was one of the best parts of the movie (besides the birth).

I still thought the opening scene was a pretty brilliant way to open tho so I'm able to forgive the baby punching out. Right off the bat it shows what the mutants want, and what the normal humans sure as hell don't want to end up as. Which is either larder or baby-makers both of which needs re-stocking.

And because it actually shows her boobs and where the baby comes out (F^ck you MPAA). You think *beep*, anything can happen in this movie!

That's what I was thinking. I mean, it's not like they're going out and getting Similac. And while the birth was horrific, she didn't seem to be in any pain afterwards, so I thought his whole "die" mini-rant just didn't seem to make sense.

In reality I think Papa Hades would have kept her alive.

I think the writers just wanted to show what the mutants wanted (babies), but didn't want to deal with the pregnant woman who'd be running around later on in the movie and killed her and the baby off instead out of storytelling convenience.

I'd have to re-watch it again but I think the baby was female. In one of the special features, someone (I forget now, maybe producer, writer or one of the actors) mentioned that Papa was needing a heir. That's all I recall so probably Papa just didn't have the patience or didn't forgive hence the killing of the mother. The Papa didn't rationalize to keep the previous babies but instead wanted a male first and foremost.

Well, that's a theory.

I don't remember seeing the baby's genitals, but even so killing her was quite wasteful.

Not only does he tear the baby out giving her massive vaginal trauma, he kills a nice, fertile breeder.

Most of the damage by the birth was done by the mutant father alone. lol

You think he'd have kept her in healthy enough condition throughout pregnancy and the birth itself to be his baby machine for a good while, instead he straight rips the baby out umbilical cord and all.
