This was hard to watch. The dude pulling it out probably caused enough vaginal tearing to cause some serious blood loss, really bad tears can cause death and now here's this a**hole dragging the baby out, umbilical cord and all. If you know anything about delivering babies this was bad.
I know it's very hard for me to watch that part too. I always get upset at that one moment after the baby is ripped from out if her she's moving her head all around to see it that just gets me everytime. I can't even imagine that poor thing chained up like that the whole pregnancy it's just horrible then giving birth with out anything at all (when I. Had my son my labor was induced And I had complications giving birth so I had an epidermal but they turned it off and the rest of the time I felt EVERYTHING and that pain omg i can't even describe it. I didn't have any other kids after my son because I didn't want to go thru that again. So when I see her giving birth I think of the incredible tremendous pain (and that's putting it mildly) she felt. It's very hard to watch even though it's only a movie still you can put yourself in her shoes and think about it
shareThe part that gets me is after he's done caressing the baby's corpse and slowly goes towards her. She knows what's coming and still begs him not kill her. Either die or stay tied to that bed forever....I mean it's not like he was planning on letting her go.
I wonder how it would have went over differently had the mutant child lived or he didn't just rage and kill her straight away.
thqt bit in the trivia section about how a cinema that was supposed to be showing a kid's movie and accidentslly set up this movie instead is just unbelievable. Of all the movies to show, the start of this is just horrendous.

He killed her because the baby was a boy. He had wanted to have a girl to keep the bloodline going.

It's not so much the graphics, but the idea of getting railed by those mutants and 9 months of living in deplorable conditions and agonizing fear until her final demise.

Who knows how long he would have kept her around had it survived - prolly would've straight up turned her into his baby machine. I mean it's not like he was going to let her go or anything, so although getting killed sucked at least she was free from that place lol
That scene was indeed very painful to watch. Talk about going for the throat right from the start!
