Russel Brand is the greatest in this movie

Honestly this is just one of the greatest comedies ever. Everyone acts incredibly well and the writing is perfect, but Russel Brand is hilarious and perfect in it.

I wouldn't waste my piss on Brand if he was on fire, but he is funny in this.

Frankly, I have never seen Russel Brand in anything. I understand he is some sort of stand up comedian. But he was very fitting for this role.

His standup is worth watching if you're a word freak, which I am. He is unique.

I cannot stand Russel Brand at all. As a comedian I do not find him funny in the slightest. His presence in this film is probably what put me off watching it for so long, but now having just seen it I do have to admit that he's pretty good in it.

I like cake! I LIKE CAKE!!!!

He's basically playing himself.

I became interested in Brand after seeing the movie and sought out his stand-up comedy. His "brand" of comedy (sorry) is very much an acquired taste. I personally like it but it's very much in that vein of British humor that might be difficult for non-Brits to relate to. His stand-up has some bits about British politics and society, but you get the gist of what he's saying. Brand's comedy is very dry but his observations are amusing and, at times, flat-out hilarious.

I do think he was a perfect fit for this movie.

I've lost a shoe... have you seen it anywhere? Excuse me, missus, I've lost a shoe... like this one. It's like this one's fellow... it's sort of the exact opposite in fact of that - not an evil version but just, you know, a shoe like this... but for the other foot. Otherwise I'd have two right...
