Filming down the street

They are currently filming this movie a couple of blocks from my house in Mt. Tabor. I've been walking over and watching them for a little while every day. Watched Greg Kinnear and Morgan Freeman reherse a scene. The set seems very mellow and everyone on the crew is really nice. I was sort of wandering away from the set pushing my 3 month old daughter in the stroller when I bumped into Mr. Freeman, who stopped and had a little conversation with my baby girl and rubbed her belly. What a presence. And that voice!! Made my day.

all this time i thought they were aliens, thanks for the clarity.

btw, can see some of the filming from my house but i don't think i'll go by, the road is all blocked off.

hey tinydream or snake77, are either of you Reed College students? I am an alumnus, and, according to an e-mail update sent out by the college, at least some scenes from this movie were filmed on Reed's campus. That may be enough to persuade me to go to this movie! (I'm usually pretty picky about what movies I want to spend $9 seeing).
