Hi! I just have a couple questions of my usual sort. Basically does the relationship with Oscar (Toby Hemingway) end well? Do they end up together, and does he die? Please, if you are going to tell me to just watch the film, refrain from posting. If you read any of my previous posts, you'll find my reasons for doing things the way I do. It works for me. It ends the way Chloe is told it will end. They love each other, they marry, she is pregnant, and that is all good, but then it does not END well for Oscar, because it ends for Oscar.

I was quite shocked when Oscar suddenly died. I wonder what was said about any health problems before and if he had told Chloe.

Hey Evyleve. If you're still checking out this thread and still have no way to get the DVD, wanted to give you a few answers.
Chloe had gone to a fortune teller earlier in the movie and was told that Oscar would die, so the audience pretty much knew through the movie that he would die (just not sure when or how). He didn't have any health problems that he knew about. He was a former drug addict. But didn't know about the heart problem he had.
Everybody was waiting for the father to kill him in a fight through the movie. But I knew it'd be at the park once everybody was settled and they started filming him too much. I thought the father would shoot him there.
