How did you see it if the trailers aren't even out.
That's because the studio is testing the movie months in advance with an audience and then starts to cut a trailer. Anyways, the sex scenes really are good! Radha Mitchell does an almost full frontal, twice! Something to get excited about.

BTW, I also appreciate Rhada in PITCH BLACK where she shows she can do action movies too. It is too bad the role played by Claudia Black included an early exit though; it was very different than her work in FARSCAPE, HERCULES, and XENA.

shareThe way it works is these test screenings take place at regular movie theaters (usually in the LA area, sometimes in Phoenix, Chicago, New York, etc.) where a company rents out one of the auditoriums on a week day and starts sending recruiters out to the nearby popular areas (but mostly the theater) where they ask moviegoers if they want to see/be part of a free screening. The movie is scheduled to come out late Summer or something, according to IMDb. Also, the work print shown did not have a title yet, so "The Feast of Love" is no longer being used as the audience was informed at the start. Another title was mentioned in the introduction, better sounding actually, but it escapes me right now.

With regards to the nudity, yes, ADavalos and Radha do go nude, the latter full frontal. Selma Blair brief topless too.

Can anybody answer me why is it here on imdb-forums so important to now about these topics and go into then in detail:
a) Do film have explicit content?
b) Can we see an actor/actress naked?
c) Is an actor/actress gay?
Really I would like to have an answer to that, because I wouldn't like to die in the thought that only adolescent teens are on these forums.

I must be one of the few that don't go to a movie for the nudity and sex then. It really rather ruins it for me to see it on screen over-excessively, because it makes me feel like a perv to watch other people, even actors on screen, get it on. I'd rather them do it enough to get the point across (that is, as much as needed for the sake of the story) then get on with the plot.

I have been the biggest fan of Alexa Davalos. Chronicles of Riddick, supporting her completely throughout Reunion. Completely loved her appearance on Angel. She made a huge impact on me.
And before you men get bitchy, I am a woman.

I can't believe Alexa is going to be nude in this film. I have lost all my respect for her. One of my favorite actresses... I'm ashamed. And you pigs go just to see nudity...
If it makes you feel any better, she is remarkably good in the movie -- in many ways, its very heart. And her nudity is quite brief and tasteful. And there is nothing exploitative about the scenes.

shareSomeone is misinforming you. There are four naked women. Two of which are mostly concealed. And there are two naked men. It's never exploitative for a second. I saw the movie last night and the women i was with, ardent feminists all, cried at the end. They loved it.

There are so many things wrong with society, people and movies today but none of it has to do with nudity.
The simple fact is that men like seeing nude women much more than women like seeing nude men. There is no point in talking about disrespect for woman and bla bla bla.
There is nothing wrong in being nude. Nudity is a natural part of human life.
A whole different matter is allowing your "sensitive" areas to be touched during the shooting of "love making" scenes(squeezing breast etc.), I don't know if this happened during the film because I haven't seen it, I certainly hope not..because that would really be degrading and disgusting.
I would like to take my mom to the movies this weekend. Are the sex scenes such that I would be uncomfortable watching this movie with her?

I can't understand the "necessity" of all the nudity and sex scenes. Don't knokw how many there are, but there must be at least a few. My local paper's reviewer said "copious copulation and incessant nudity." Copious, eh. What i'll never understand is why - and HOW - actors do this stuff.
I just saw the movie this afternoon and the one comment I made throughout was "another nude scene?" After the first couple of times, it gets to be gratuitous and for absolutely no reason. When I see Morgan Freeman and Jane Alexander in the credits, I expect quality. To see every actress in the film, except Jane, displaying breasts and nether regions - it is unnecessary and took away from the film. By the way, you saw full on frontal female nudity - no males.

If you say it's sexist but I can assure you it's just better and not as distracting looking at a nake woman as opposed to a naked man.
Also, there really was no point in showing Billy Burke's penis in that alraedy perfect shot when he gets off the bed and when he's facing Radha Mitchell.

The camera was in the distance to see the two arguing so we saw her entire body not for the sake of seeing her entire body. It was an artistic decision just like cutting Burke at the waist.

Yes it's sexist, yes it's a double standard, but female nudity attracts a lower censorship rating than male nudity. As a matter of fact you'd be very lucky to get anything less than an "X" rating for male full frontal nudity.

This is so ridiculous. Society views the penis as worth more than a female anything. . . breast, vagina. . . directors can show a woman full frontal because, well, who cares? But a MAN'S PENIS? Oh the horrors! No, no, we mustn't see a man's penis. . . besides, women don't want to see such things! Female nudity in mainstream cinema rarely actually shows any genitalia, just the pubic hair which normally masks what is largely hidden away anyway. As far as I know, the female nude scenes don't feature open-legged, shaven close-ups of vaginas, just hair. It is really difficult to do the same for men, it's either cock and balls or nothing.
I think it's fair to say that including those objects WILL distract from anything else that's going on in a movie, people will say/think 'He's got a big/small/odd-looking one' whereas for women, what? 'She could do with a trim'? Unlikely because they will almost all have had one.
It's just not the same.

I'm surprised that no posts have presented an obvious reason that a man's penis is seldom shown in these sex scenes. Unlike female "full frontal nudity", that of the male displays quite clearly, through erection or lack thereof, the true emotional involvement of the actor. Thus, in many situations, the resulting visual display could be quite embarrassing to the actor and actress (and probably many others on the set) if discrete coverage were not employed.

BTW, Jewel was to have a topless scene in The Tribe before they recast all but one actor and reshot the movie as The Lost Tribe, I guess you've lost respect for her too?
It's kinda funny. You all know there's a difference between "Sex Scenes" and "Nude Scenes," right? No one yet has discussed the "Sex Scenes" in the film. I haven't seen the film, yet I think most of us want to know exactly why this film is rated R for Strong Sexual Content. So, to clarify what the spirit of this post is really about: how explicit are the sex scenes?
