I see it took four people to write this film which has no dialog. Let's see, here's the total script:
- Two guys in robot suits ride in a car
- They put on funny masks
- They walk into the desert and one blows up
- The other sets himself on fire
THE END
So that's about one line per person. I wonder how much they got paid?
Writing a silent film is harder than you'd think.
The film is actually very poetic, so I'd say there's probably a pretty good script behind it.

By your way of thinking 50 thousand people were needed to craft "Good Burger".
Lighten up, Francis. It's an art film. Not every piece of cinema has to have "Talky talky, punchy punchy, smashy smashy, Ka-bang.". This one has throbbing silence and THEN the Ka-bang.
Also, I doubt that any of the credited writers went into this project as a way of paying off a summer pool. Sometimes it's NOT about the paycheck. (Gasp!)
Go back to watching Adult Swim and considering THAT to be 'experimental art'.
