Does the movie change your mind???

Hi Carasing, welcome to the IMDb message boards.

Just letting you know that this particular board is for the video game 'The Da Vinci Code.'

Some people on here will TRY to belittle you and TRY to insult your intelligence just to make themselves feel better because you posted a movie message on a video game board. I suggest you ignore them. But... they are a nuisance nonetheless.

Please know that I'm not trying to be a jerk, just trying to let you know that some people on here aren't very mature or polite.

And to answer your question - no, the movie didn't really change my philosophy on religion. I really enjoyed reading the book and I thought that the movie did the book justice. I view it as fiction, and pretty darn entertaining fiction at that.

I have read the book twice and i have seen the movie. I dont think its a matter of beleif. More like understanding. I am a muslim so abviously i dont consider jesus as divine. That is where the problems come in with devout christians. Yes the book is fiction but it is based on theory. The question shouldnt be weather you by into dan brown, but is it possible. Yes Da Vinci COde is just a book, but then what is the bible. Its also a book. everything one believes, is the same as another. No one can say what is absolute truth. Not Brown, not a priest, its all faith. And with faith must come understanding. I do understand that it could very well be possible, but i am bias. If someone were to write something against my own religion i probably would act the same as many christians do about this book. So its all relative.
