BOOKS DO NOT necessarily MAKE GOOD MOVIES

In my experience movies rarely live up to their book namesakes. Hollywood have a way of bastardising things, and making great things, like the book, into average overhyped,well-RUBBISH!!!!!
I have just witnessed one of the biggest atrocities this year, i do not frequent the cinema on a regular basis but because i loved the excitement of the book and its plot that much I thought I'd definetly have to see the film. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! the movie does not do the book justice, its pace-SLOW, its acting-POOR, (except that is for Sir Ian McKellan), Running time-Probably not long enough to justify what was cut from the film, its soundtrack-NOISY, TOO NOISY most of the time. Overall, I believe that once again Hollywood has managed to take away what was a great pleasure in reading the book for most, most of whom will end up seeing the film, and making an overrated film version. Wont they (hollywwood) ever learn just because one thing is popular and the "in" thing you DO NOT HAVE TO MAKE A MOVIE OUT OF IT AND RUIN IT!!!!!!!

This board is for the Video Game (VG) of the Da Vinci Code, not the movie.
