don't understand this film?

Well that's probably ok. This is as much a movie as a documentary. All the details - to the minute ones like milk bottles and songs on the radio - are perfect and that's why so many romanians like it. So if u think there wasn't much of a plot that's why.
If u think the camera work was weird - objects in the way & careless - than that is because the whole story is said from the eyes of a few persons and the camera tries to capture that view.
Don't understand the ending? well that is because the movie ends in the day the communist regime fell. if you want a similar movie/documentary thing about what happened next in romania then watch "paper will be blue"
