Why was moved Eva from her's school ?
she didnt break the bust staue of Ceausescu , Alexandru did.

It's not very clearly depicted in the script, but one can tell that she was quite a rebel kid already at the time when the small accident happened. She didn't get kicked out of her school for the statue episode, but because she was reluctant and undisciplined. She was called in the principal's office right before the incident, right? And after Alex broke the statue, she didn't react in any way when the teacher who appeared on the hall called her, and she kept running, which can easily be considered as an insult. And during the "trial" that took place after that, she was obviously defiaing them all and not being cooperating at all, which at the time was more than enough to have you kicked out of the school.

Thank you for clearing some aspects of the problem.
All you said above is true exept her being called in the principal's office right before the incident.
To me there was an false call made by Alex just to make out with her.
I assumed that Alex framed her for the staue and she didn't defend herself.
In those days there was not an small accident to break a statue of the leader of the communist party and Alex was not punished for the same incident.
Anyway what you said cleared a lot of my question.

Like most things in the movie, important things are not spoken aloud. It's implicit, just like so many things were left implicit in those days. She was punished because someone had to pay for the broken bust. Alex's father was not just a cop! he was a 'securitate' guy, a member of the secret/political police. He had enough influence to clear his boy, but he didn't do the same for Eva, even though he promised to his son to do so. She was too proud to defend herself, and that didn't help either.

reply

also, alex is son of a police officer, who by his profession has the right connections to save his son... while eva misses this "help".

reply

i think that Alex's dad (as policeman or stasi-like officer) had the power to clear Alex which he did. But he told Alex that he would help Eva but he didn't.

Alex was angry that his dad had promised to help Eva too, yet at the same time, Alex voted 'yes' to remove Eva from the Young Communists League at school???

reply

That's EXACTLY what happened. He had to vote her out or else somebody would tell on his "reactionary" gesture. Mind control through fear worked for everybody in those times. Keep your head down was the paramount behavior if you wanted to live to tell about it. Glad we managed to pull ourselves out of that and I hope never, never, never again!
