Review

This movie aired on last night on Lifetime . It captured my attention right away, and had the makings of a very interesting plot. Similar to other movies, aka Prom Night, Friday the 13th, etc.. without the gore. I thought it was a very good movie until the last 10 minutes of it. The ending was terrible and weak. Definately not who you imagined and not who it should have been. The writers must have gotten tired towards the end. Because for a good movie to end up like this is a waste of Lifetime space.

i have to agree!

Me too. I knew from the beginning this would be a stupid movie, but I watched anyway for Julie Benz. I figured out in the first 15 minutes who would be behind the deaths because of all the not-so-subtle clues. The ending was seriously weak and just weird. No one would just confess like that, especially considering her original motives for killing everyone in the first place. This was a below average Lifetime movie.

Tomorrow's just your future yesterday!

After watching too many films like this I knew it was one of the friends immediately.

Spoiler
When one of them knew everybody from their class as if they'd graduated yesterday I thought it was her but before the scene ended and the other person mentioned where she was headed to live I knew it was her! She had the most to lose.Turns out I was right but the reason she started killing people was just lame and then she didn't even bother to kill the person who would most likely blackmail her! Good looking cast.Very weak story.

The whole movie was a bit difficult to believe.

Firstly, wouldn't there have been a bigger investigation into the original death of the girl camping?

Then all the other 'accidental deaths'??

It was pretty conveneient for the killer to find the women hanging off her balcony and being able to push her off otherwise how was she going to make that look like an accident.

And the police ...c'mon they wouldn't have been a little more interested in 5 deaths of even loosely tied people within the last 8 months. Even when the fireplace situation happenedthey still had doubts.

Then the ending it wrapped up a litle to nicely.

Agreed. I got tired watching all the rerun-for-the-10th-time Forensic Files, Cold Case Files and Body of Evidence, so I started watching these Lifetime movies.

Some crime stories are interesting, even when they are loosely based on true incidents, but there gets to be a formula that turns me off:

1) Gal meets guy and in seconds is rolling around in the sack/floor with him. Nothing wrong with that in the right films, but in many of the damsel-in-distress flicks, it adds nothing to the story and appears to be just thrown in for a titillation factor.

2) Then we have the cops or boyfriend who won't believe the woman, despite the killer doing everything but sending up flares. It comes off much better when they are initially skeptical but quickly come around as the evidence mounts.

Until the other shows get some fresh material, I'll keep watching these movies as they still beat the idiotic sitcoms and other dross that the studios try to pass off as entertainment. At least the Canadian scenery is new and interesting and the actors, by and large (given the script) are very good.

If it is a "below-average" Lifetime movie, then it has to be really bad.

I was too busy looking at Chris Kramer to realize the plot holes in the movie. He is so sexy and hairy, I was too turned on to think about the script and plot.

You are an example of what is so wrong with america. So very sick !!

For some reason I watch this movie every time that it is on but I agree with you. I definitely think the ending could have been so much stronger. It had a lot of potential but fell short.
