I'm very sure it'll be cancelled.

Fashion Police, I believe will be cancelled--at least in it's form. I'm sure E! Will continue to support George, Kelly and definitely Giuliana, but I'm sure they'll announce within a week that the show is over. Joan is irreplaceable. She was the show and the only reason people tuned in.

Tony Tripoli, the head writer was on CNN this morning and said something along the lines of "Yeah, I don't know how we got a way with that. It was not about fashion at ALL." On the suggestion that the show wasn't really about fashion at all, but a vehicle for Joan to display her genius.

I didn't watch the show really, and when I did it was only for the jokes. But it was nice to know that Joan was on TV every week.

I'm really going to miss her.

It's true, I love the concept of the show, fashion is important to me and it was great to see them comment on the fashion choices.

But what made the shows appeal so much broader than the concept was Joan's hilarious comedy. No one they replace her with would dare say some of the things she said.

To say it wasn't about fashion at all tells me he never watched it.

I wasn't an avid watcher. If it was on sure i'd watch. However the show was Joan "Say something critical yet funny/mean insert punchline" Kelly, Giuliana "Laugh say you love Joan" George "sit there and be gay". Kelly "Refuse to say anything bad about someone you like. Giuliana "try and make it about fashion" it was more of a Joan Rivers stand up performance. Fashion was used as a reference point in the comedy routine..

If you think it was actually about fashion, you completely missed the point. The head writer even said that.

I am watching Joan's last time on Andy Cohn show. It's going to be hard for me to delete it. I am not concerned about other people's opinion of Joan or the show. I enjoyed watching Fashion Police. There is no way the show can continue without her. I admit I watch various types of shows and some of them are just to relax and laugh. I learn more about designers I will never afford to wear while LMAO at Joan Rivers. My thoughts to her family and her friends. She was a trailblazer. I love her clothes and jewelry and classic style of dressings.

I have several shows on DVR which I will keep. Funny, but I really think Joan would want the show to go on I just don't see how unless they try rotating hosts for awhile (like Siskel and Ebert did) to see what happens. Just a thought. I am now and forever will be a Joan Ranger. A salute!

I know no one could replace Joan but do you think the show could continue on, possibly with Melissa Rivers hosting? She can be quite funny & it would be a nice way to honor her mother.

reply

I only watched it because of Joan Rivers.

I am not watching The Late Late Show without Craig Ferguson either.

Yes. I always have my coffee when I watch radar, you know that.

They announced today it's coming back in January. Melisaa made the announcement on tonight's special Joan best moments show.
