Are there ANY likable characters on this show?

About 4 episodes in, digging it so far. But one thing I've noticed is that there isn't really a single character that I like completely. Lacy and Zoe POSSIBLY but there's something about both of them that rubs me the wrong way. The teacher seems like a closet psychopath. The whole Adama family are just thug *beep* The Greystones are elitists and just plain ignorant most of the time. Don't get me STARTED on the police. And everyone else on Caprica seems to be bitterly and openly racist against Gemenon and Tauron (and probably every other planet, they just haven't been mentioned yet). From what I can gather right now, the Cylon genocide of the 12 colonies was probably the best thing anyone could have done for this society.

You've only seen 4 episodes so I won't spoil anything but some characters go through some major changes by the end of the season. Joseph and Sam Adama especially.

Then again, part of the basic premise of this show is that it is about a civilization that is just starting to go through a period of moral decline and confusion.

For me, Joseph Adama and his wife to be is probably the most likeable character, but even then making him tied in with a 'mafia-like' crime family does not seem at all what Bill Adama was on BSG, not to mention no mention of Tauron heritage at all. All of this would have been explained and redeemed in future seasons.

Daniel Graystone is the most intriguing character. Zoe is an angry teenager and not exactly fitting to be the 12 Colonies first Cylon. Amanda Graystone is always looking for trouble instead of being a doctor, which she says she is on the show. Lacey Rand is hard to have sympathy with her going off and joining Soldiers of the One Terrorist Organization.

And don't get me started on the 'Deanna D'Bheers' BSG lookalike, Clarice Willow, who was definitely supposed to inspire Cylon humanoid appearance in future seasons. The GDD detective is pretty good, but too many gaps for his placement in the show don't help his character as much as it should.

Tamara is always looked at as the original Tamara Adama by characters on the show, which I find bizarre. Tamara is only a computer program consisting of the memories of the original, created by Daniel Graystone--she is not Cylon, nor is she real.

Even with all of that, I still love the show. :)
