This really Slipped Far away From BSG

Not family friendly, low class, low value/shock value for cheap viewership.
I mean really, Homosexuality, Teenagers, "Virgin sacrifices" to a god, murder rooms, group sex, trash. This 'god' is called Satan. Really Demonic writing.
And the people involved in this.

How was BSG "family friendly"? There was plenty of violence and sex there as well.

Or are you referring to the kiddie 70's version of BSG?

reply

I believe your mistaken. You need to go back and watch, Commander Adama, Apollo, Starbuck, Boxey and Muffit.

The BSG I watched (the real one) had no Muffit and Boxey was gone after the miniseries.

And you see how far the drift was.

I think one of the traits of Caprica is that it shows a world rampant in immorality and on the edge of self-annihilation, the first Cylon War happens where humans battle their own creation--there is no victor, 40 years later the Cylons wipe out humanity on the 12 colonies, save for a few pockets of resistance here and there, 30 some thousand people survive the holocaust, make there way to earth, cast away all of their technology and ships and mingle with the natives.

150,000 years later, here we are, in an eerily similar situation, except we do not have FTL or Hyperlight Jump Drive technology.
