So #13 got shot several times and was left to die. By the time the scene changes, he has fallen to the floor and is too weak to move. But we don't actually see him die, we just assume it.
Personally, after all he went through against his will, I choose to believe that someone finds him before it's too late, calls 911 and he survives. As for the shooter, he believes that #13 died on the train and will not be looking for him.
Nice thought. The only problem I think is that #13 seemed to be a decent enough guy that I wonder how he'd be able to handle using the money, given the way he "earned" it.
Sure, he was in a kill-or-be-killed scenario but don't you think he'd wonder how many of the ones he killed were there also against their will so would develop a HUGE amount of guilt connected to the money?
(This was one of the most intense films I've ever seen!)
I haven't seen this yet...but should be getting it early next week. I did see the original, 13 TZAMETI, and there was no doubt about the ending in that film.
