USPS - Priority Mail

is it possible to send money using those flat rate boxes?

reply

Obviously it's possible, but it's not entirely safe.

....and, just as obviously, you don't let the counter help at the post office in on the fact that you just stuffed two million dollars in the box.

I think it is stupid. Funny thing is that he actually sent it express because he said someone had to be there to sign; priority mail is not guaranteed and though it is certified, it is possible that it would not have to be signed for. I don't think the post office would approve of the money being sent that way, but he figured that way it would be undetected. If it is anything like Greenville, NC mail, his mom never got the frickin money anyway. I am still waiting for my complaint call back on a guaranteed delivery that wasn't!

I agree with you- that IS stupid. What's worse is if you've seen Tarantino's Jackie Brown - cos QT insists on such realism that they actually USE 1/2 Million US$ in 100$ bills - and that 1/2 Million US$ alone wouldn't fit in *any* satchel or suitcase that anyone of those guys were carrying, and $!.85 Million US$ would have taken about 40 of those mailing boxes. 1/2 Million US$ masses about the size of eight 12 packs of soda pop, or it totally fills a white plastic USPS mail bin, the deep ones. You can see this on youtube, or on the DVD edition - In the after-efx interviews of Jackie Brown the prop master explains that this is why he's losing his hair, having to track that much REAL MONEY each day on set. It was brilliant.

Aside from that this movie was Such a waste of time, I want my time back. One point I did like was Statham showed real emotion when being chastised by his brother. Other than that, this re-made was the dog's **** - I've rarely regretted watching something more.

A question, which actor played the Ed Sullivan like "ringmaster"? His arm movements and head movements were dead on ringers for Sullivan, if not his verbiage! And revolvers won't spin like that if they are loaded properly, either.

However, all in all - doctor needed ringside, this film's NOT going to make it! ;)
