I know it's HIGHLY improbable, but what if...
What if everyone gets shot on round 2 or 3? I realize, again, odds are highly unlikely, but not impossible.
Oh. Damn. Looks like they're all dead.
Crap.

What is/was also improbable was the fact that frenchie (stathams brother) was his last 3 duals. Forget about the dual part - but for him to get by the early rounds AND win 3 duals are odds numbering in the billions
shareit would be a short film if only 1 person survived the first round.
shareIn the billions? Nah, it's much more probable than that.
From the 18 participants in the tournament, 4 survived in the end. So roughly speaking, the chance of surviving a tournament is 4/18 = 2/9 = about 22%. Hence the chance of surviving three tournaments in a row, is (2/9)*(2/9)*(2/9) = 8/729 = about 1/91 = 1.1%.
Winstone's chances were even a bit higher than that because in the final duels he had an edge because he obviously was experienced and skilled with guns and therefore he was probably quicker on the draw than his opponents.
