How to tell if a movie is shot in Canada

It's very easy. You just look for the American flag. Whether it's a Canadian street, a Canadian office or a Canadian house, the producers invariably festoon the set with US flags to bury even further the fact that the scene is in Canada, in this case, Winnipeg.
And what an insult to the "peg: to be a stand in for Buffalo. But then Toronto once was used to represent Detroit.

Actually, I believe that some of the Canadian exteriors were shot in the greater Vancouver area, not Winnipeg...As far as the easy things to recognize, another is the obvious Canadian companies, for instance you could clearly see Telus (a Canadian telco) when they were in a shopping mall.

Screw you a$$ hole! You are the typical poster who knows nothing about the film business or any business for that matter. You just offers a knee-jerk reaction to something that you don't even understand. Maybe one day when you learn something about business, you can come back and offer an informed opinion. But I doubt that will ever happen...

You see the VIA rail in an early scene. That's how you can tell it was shot in Canada...

Big Gulps, huh? Alright. Well, see ya later!
